Restoring the Self

Grief and Bereavement

When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart,

and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

Kahil Gibran

Losing a loved one is a life altering experience. Grief can be overwhelming, confusing and exhausting to endure. Despite grief being universal and a normal emotional response to loss, most of us lack understanding of how to help our hurting hearts. We want our lives to be normal again but find that nothing feels right anymore. When will the vulnerability and emptiness end?

Grief is likened to a journey because it is an experience of its own design and duration. Despite grief being very personal, it is a journey you don't have to do alone.

In a caring and respectful environment, I offer compassionate skills to help you welcome and embrace your sorrow. I will accompany you on your grief journey and honor and explore the meaning and lessons your specific loss has brought to your life. You can restore joy and create new hopes and dreams again!
